“Rob was very professional and assisted me with my issues and answered my inquiries. He is also very knowledgeable in dog training and up-to-date in dog psychology.
Currently, Scooby feels more at ease on walks and is a much happier dog. He is no longer lunging at people and is calmer around dogs. He is even willing to meet some people who put out their hand (Prior to meeting Rob, he would sniff and likely cower or try to get away). Bikers don't bother him anymore and neither do joggers. He has really improved during the past two months. I just want to thank Rob for the outstanding and professional dog training (and people training) services they have provided. I feel confident that Scooby and I will progress through the years and that he will be a more confident and happy dog.”

“Our dogs are very 'dog aggressive'. They are fine with kids and adults. Once they know you are part of our 'pack' they are huge teddy bears, and very affectionate. However, Keno and Bear are both over 100 lbs., and they can be a hand-full if they are excited.
Rob came to our home for an evaluation. He was impressed with our previous training (Both people and dogs). He went over what we were doing from discipline to feeding routines, and then focused on the trouble we were having. Rob suggested a 1-Day lesson, rather than a package. Both Keno, and Bear eat and sleep in kennels, and are pretty good on "place", "come", "sit", "down" and "heel" commands given no other dogs, deer, squirrels, cats, or assorted small furry creatures are in sight. Trying to walk them past a dog park (or even another dog walking on leash) was an adventure in babysitting! They took my 76 year old dad on a run through some bushes tearing his jacket and losing his hat. There were several high tension moments when well-meaning people (with friendly dogs) just allowed their dogs to approach us off-leash despite my warning that our puppies "do not play well with others". "That's OK" they say, "our dog is very friendly". Then they are surprised when Keno or Bear attempts to make a light snack out of their friendly dog. Rob moved Bear up to a more aggressive collar, and checked out the rest of our gear, then he asked where we normally walk and proceeded to walk one dog at a time over the entire two mile route. Then we took both dogs and he worked with them again, again walking the entire two miles. It was amazing to watch. It was very clear that we were not experiencing a 'dog problem', but an owner’s lack of ability and education. They were spot on amazing dogs as long as Rob held the leash. When it was my turn to walk the dogs, I was actually fine going by the dog park, doing what Rob showed us, but when we encountered two little off-leash dogs I turned around to back away. Rob took the leashes from me, and walked Keno and Bear right in between the two off-leash dogs! Like it was nothing!!
I cannot tell you all is roses with Keno and Bear now. One lesson was not enough to catch me up to Robs experience or ability. But our walks are MUCH better, and I am more aware of the work that will be required to achieve the relationship I want with my dogs. I can tell you that, in a very short time, Rob was able to give me some tools and some understanding that were fully worth the time and expense. Absolutely all 5-Stars.”

“Rob was our trainer: He was calm, friendly, and great at listening to our concerns.
Saw INSTANT positive change in our crazy dog on the walk.
Learned a ton of great and effective techniques to apply to our German Shepard. At the end of our session our dog was so much calmer and very happy/respectful. What a HUGE difference in only a few hours. WOW.”

“Our dogs took to Rob very quickly, it’s hard to explain but it was clear the dogs responded to his presence. Rob is knowledgeable, professional and never made us feel dumb. Over the course of 5 sessions he worked with us and our dogs teaching us how to recognize behavior and how we to provide corrections. He made sure to leave us with exercises we could practice at home and during walks.
The result was fast and at times astonishing. Our dogs got so much better. We've now mastered walks; my wife can walk them both without concern. They walk by our side and understand commands. We can handle our AB's dog aggression problems as well as understanding how to deal with off leash dogs. Besides the behavior improvement the dogs seem happier and healthier. The walks have been more frequent and longer, both are down 10lbs!”

“The doggie fur-person and I had our first class with Rob tonight. Sadie and I were having leash issues that I just could not correct on my own.”
“ This guy is AMAZING! After just one session, the change in her is incredible! He has given me the proper tools to manage my issues if you and your fur-person need help, Thanks Rob!!”

“We have two dogs, an 80lbs Belgian Shepherd, and a 40lbs German Shorthaired mix. Each with their own issues, some big, some minor. Our GSP had some serious child aggression problems, to the point that we were going to give him away because he was a threat. After ONE session with Rob, Waldo was markedly improved. He would not growl at kids walking by or nip at them. He listens off leash, his fear and aggression are in check, and he listens! We did a 5 pack of training and it is amazing what Rob can do. From little commands around the house to instant recall (a HUGE issue for both pups), I cannot endorse Rob enough.”

“After one meeting with Rob, Buster is already happier and less of a scared yet very homicidal maniac! I will update after we complete the 5 session training, but so far so awesome! Thx Rob, it's almost if you could read Buster's mind!”

“Riley's a 7-year-old Yorkie-poo who, up until a few weeks ago, absolutely hated all other dogs and had extreme anxiety on walks. His aggression toward other dogs - in the form of incessant barking and attempts to jump at any dog nearby - made it nearly impossible to take him on any type of walk or out in public if there was a risk of seeing another dog. Forget about taking him to pet stores or dog parks - this was just completely out of the question.”
“Literally after about a half hour, Riley was already behaving better. We signed up for a 5-week course and each week, we noticed a massive improvement in Riley. Rob's method is flawless and Riley absolutely loved him. Less than 2 weeks into the training, Riley was able to be around and even meet dogs without any barking or aggression. We started taking him to dog parks and pet stores regularly and have drama-free walks. It sounds unbelievable and like it's too good to be true, but that's just how good Rob is.”

“Rob's teaching methods were straight forward, consistent and thorough. They were just as quick to correct Abbey's behavior as they were to correct our behavior in dealing with her and as a result, we are far better and more knowledgeable dog owners.”

“I have two dogs in training with Rob, and just in the four meetings we have had they have made such a difference that I was able to take my dogs out to socialize for the first time. My 1 year old Boston-pit mix, Capt. Jack, was a rescue from Atlanta GA. We literally rescued him from being beaten in the middle of the streets. Bailey is a 3 year old hound mix who loves people but hates other dogs.”
“It has been about 3 months and both of my dogs have made a huge improvement. Just this weekend I was able to take both Jack and Bailey over to a friend’s house and stay overnight with their two dogs, with no fights. Jack didn't even have to wear his muzzle! I am still working everyday with both dogs, but we are on the road to recovery.”

“I have a Great Dane that suddenly became very aggressive. She was very, very aggressive towards other dogs. She even bit a neighbor's leg (which was in the way of my Dane getting to her dog). It was an awful experience and I knew I needed to resolve the problem quickly. I went to two trainers and thought I was doing fine but actually I was getting nowhere. They taught me how to get my dog to heel and sit, but when another dog was nearby I was in the same horrible predicament, then I came upon Rob. He really is amazing -- he really knows how dogs think (and loves them too) and before I knew it, we were walking downtown with other dogs passing us without my Great Dane snarling and pulling me uncontrollably. I am sure that Rob can help anyone with any dog problem. He doesn't just give you commands, he helps you understand what the dog is reacting to and why. He's amazing and I know you won't be disappointed - you will be amazed. “

“Amazing. Couldn't ask for any better. I tell my friends I know the Dog Whisperer. Rob helped me with two of my dogs- one had severe behavior issues and aggressiveness towards little children (!) and the other was a powerful 85 lbs of hyper puppy Malinois with her own agenda. (Now the Mal actually comes to work with me and can chill out at my feet!)
Rob transformed my life and the lives of my dogs. One of my dogs spent a whole month boarding with another trainer, and Rob, within 30 minutes accomplished more.
He will tell you things to do and TAKE HIS ADVICE. He won't send you to the store to buy a bunch of crap that won't work- he will give you options as to things you can do which make it work for your own unique situation. He takes his time with each session and truly cares. You won't regret training with him. He's incredibly professional, passionate and most of all the dogs love him!”

“I came to Rob because no one else would take us and I had heard great things. Nash had shown aggression towards other dogs and began resource guarding. He would lunge at dogs on every walk. He would growl at his own shadow when he ate his food. He would not listen to me if there were other dogs around, he would take off in attack mode. He's a 5 year old, 50lb rescue so I didn't want to let this behavior go uncorrected.
Rob came and clearly explained why Nash was displaying this behavior. On our first lesson, Rob permanently corrected the lunging at other dogs on a leash behavior. It was gone for good! On our second lesson, we worked on having Nash only focus on me when we are outside. Now when he sees something he would typically go after, he looks up at me for instruction. On our third lesson, we worked on getting Nash to listen to me with lots of distractions (Dolores Park), off leash and at a distance. Now he will come back to me no matter what, even when he's 100 feet away. We spent the last few lesson teaching Nash cool tricks. Rob has an amazing dog that he uses to help with the training and I wanted Nash to learn some of the things Rob's dog knows.
All in all, I cannot recommend Rob enough. He has made Nash a very well behaved and balanced dog. He's an angel on our walks, he's trust worthy off leash, and he's a great listener. I had so much fun learning about dog physiology and working with Rob. Please, if your dog shows aggression, get help-- Rob is a great place to start.”
